ホテルの冷蔵庫は、ちょっと割高です。 Prices are high in a hotel
ホテルの冷蔵庫は、日本物価です。ビールが３ドル、ジュース類も２ドルですよ。やはり、日本人向けに価格設定されているみたいです。そんなときは、近くにショッピングセンターがあれば、そこへ行きましょう。バドワイザ−３５０ｍｌ缶が、８５セントなんと１／３以下です。我々も実は、サイパンに着いた日にホテルの冷蔵庫のビールを飲んでしまったのですが、後でショッピングセンターで買ったビールをこっそり冷蔵庫に戻しておきました。ホテルの方ごめんなさい。でも、ホテルにＤＦＳ（デューティ・フリー・ショパーズ）があるところでは、同じバドワイザーが、１ドルで売っています。やはり、サイパンの人は日本人ほどセコクありません。南国の人はおおらかですね。
In a hotel,especially in a fridge,prices are high.A Beer is 3 dollars、softdrink is 2 dollars. It seems that price is decided for Japanese. In a case like that.If there is a shopping center near your hotel, you should go there. Beer (Budwiser 350ml) is 85 cents. It's very cheap,isn't it. To tell the truth,when we reached Saipan,we drank beer which is expensive one in fridge. But we put the beer which we bought at shopping center back to the fridge. In case of the hotel with DFS(duty free shoppers),they sells same budwiser only 1 dollar. I have no idea what they think.本文
何はなくともマニャガハ島へ Best plan is going to Managaha island
とにかく、マニャガハ島へ行きましょう。ほとんどのマリンスポーツができます。とくに、シュノーケリングで熱帯魚たちの餌付けが最高です。時間も忘れ、年齢（とし）も忘れ夢中になれます。魚たちに手が触れられるほどですよ。なんと餌付け用の餌は、ショッピングセンターで売っていた、ソーセージの缶詰でした。（魚たちにやらずに、酒の肴にした者もいました。）サイパン本島で、ショッピングや観光もいいのですが、マニャガハ島で全日程を過ごすのもいいかもしれません。南国のおおらかな時のながれに身をまかせましょう。
First,you should go to Managaha island. You can do all kind of marine sports. particularly snorkelling is the best. You will be absobed in it. You can make fishes take to feeding. Feeds were canded sausages which were sold at shopping center. (some of our member ate them.)Sightseeing and shopping at Saipan island are good. but you may prefer to spent all plans at Managaha island.
カントリーハウスレストラン（人気のステーキハウス） Country House restaurant(The popular steak house)
ガラパンへ行ったらここ。ウエスタンスタイルのグルメスッポット、新鮮なシーフードや最高級のビーフステーキが味わえる。でも予約をしないと、１時間も待たされますよ。とにかくウエスタン気分を満喫したい人には、おすすめです。ロケーションは、ガラパンの繁華街のちょっとはずれ。繁華街のほうへ行くと、怪しげなお店もあって客引きもいるので要注意。（ちょっと怪しげなお店に入ってしまいました。傷は軽かったのですが！）
I recomend this restaurant which is in GARAPAN. That's a Western style steak house.You can eat fresh sea foods and top quality beef steakBut you have to have a reservation.if not,you must have to wait for an hour.Where is that restaurant? it's on the outskirts of the GARAPAN.
サンロケは、ちょっと田舎です。 San Roque is a little rural
ＢＢＱメンパーの一部に、規律をみだし島内観光に行った者がいました。（普通のツアー客みたい）その者の話しによると、サイパンの道路は、広くて走り易いが（どうもレンタカーを借りたようだ）舗装が悪く、平気で大きな穴が道路の真ん中に開いていたりするそうです。サンロケや島の東部は、ガラパンやススペとくらべるとちょっと田舎だ（何にも無い）そうです。もっとも、そのほうが良いという人もいますね。
Some of our BBQ menbers went sightseeing in Saipan island.According to them Saipan's road was so wide that they could drive easily. But they were surprised at a pavement. The streets were badly laid with asphalt. There was big hole on the road. they were very different form Japanese streets.San Roque was a little rural compare with Garapan.
